So I typically wash my Miata whenever it’s at my parents’ place. Scrub every reachable square inch of the body and wheels, vacuum and dust off the interior, and this time going one step further...

Cleaning up the black gunk around and under the gas door. This is the after picture, it was 100x worse and the entire area was covered in an ugly mold-like black substance. You can see traces of residue around the edges of the underside of the fuel door. I’m very satisfied with the results!

You ever unbolt your fenders? A ton of dirt collects in there. Like way more than you expect. This was when I cleaned mine recently. All you have to do is remove the bottom two bolts and bang on it a bit.

I was planning to install my new air filter, wash, clay bar, wash and wax the GA3 today. BUT IT’S SNOWING AGAIN. :/

My fenders had even more crap than that fall out. Being the 4th owner of the car I wonder if they had ever been unbolted to let the stuff fall out.

Yup, cleared mine out a few months ago. I’ll do a spring cleaning later around March since it hasn’t sat under/around any trees.

This is the best recent front picture of it since I had the windshield frame vinyl’d black.

Here’re two others I took when a brand new ND came into the local Mazda dealership . Sadly the ND was an auto but it sold relatively fast in a truck-biased town!

I did this for the passenger fender I took it off to fix the dents and dings and there was so much leaves and wet silty mud crap. I was glad there was no rust.

I Q-tip the air vents, use a special set of brushes to clean the carpet out, and apply a light cleaner to the seats as well (leatherette) That’s not counting soap pressure-washing all the mats, and vacuuming all of the carpets.

yeah, I go hella ocd :P
